The Trustee offers a free Debtor Education Course.  The 10 lesson course covers topics that include Budgeting, Smart Shopping, Use of Credit, Credit Reports and Scores, Identity Theft, Managing Money and much more, in lessons that take 20 to 30 minutes each. You do not have to take all lessons at one time. The course also includes useful, printable materials.

 

When you complete all coursework, a Certificate of Debtor Education will be emailed to you within 3 business days and filed with the Bankruptcy Court within 15 days.
